Doylestown is the story of two brothers, Christian and Sam Doyle, who took very different paths before finally converging to create their distinctive sound. Christian, the older of the two, began his artistic journey as an actor before turning to music as a deeper form of self-expression. Sam, inspired by his brother’s early guitar playing, picked up a bass guitar gifted by their eldest brother, David (formerly an LA bass player) and never put it down.

While Christian pursued creative projects on stage and film, Sam ventured far from home to the rugged coasts of Alaska, spending years as a commercial fisherman. The isolation of the sea gave him time to reflect, dream, and plan to one day start a band with his brother.

After years of conversations about making music together, the brothers finally made good on their promise. Their debut album, Long Gone, is a soulful blend of Americana, country, blues and rock, drawing from stories of travel, loss, and finding home again. Named after their family roots, Doylestown is a tribute to shared memories and brotherhood, crafting songs that feel like postcards from the road — soaked in desert air, worn by time, and carried by heart.
